Step 2 Presentation

1.  Give a brief introduction to the life of Abraham Lincoln.

      Today we are going to read about Abraham Lincoln. He was the 16th president of the USA from 1860~ 1865. He was born into a poor family in Kentucky. When he was a young man, he studied law and became a lawyer. Later he became President. When he was President, there was a Civil War between northern and southern states. Lincoln was a great president, so let’s read more about his life.

After the war lasted 4 years

Set the slaves free and made Northern and southern states join up

 

In 1864

Became President for the second time was shot

at a theatre in Washington D.C

Today

Is considered as one of the greatest of all American president
